Instructions for Issuing an Amber Alert
If you work for a law enforcement agency and have an event that could possibly be a child abduction, immediately call the KBI at 785-296-8262. The initial call can be placed by communications staff or other members of the organization. Please be prepared to provide a law enforcement officer point of contact that has direct knowledge of the ongoing event.
